Name: Amaya Lilith Walker
Nickname: May if you are close to her;; alias when traveling is Akane Snow
Age: twenty one Sex: female
Height: five feet, seven inches
Weight: one hundred thirty seven pounds
Scars or Birthmarks: scar from vampire fangs on her left shoulder, scars on both sides of her arm that travel up from her wrist to the middle of her forearm.
Race: human
Looks: Amaya doesn’t really care what attire she displays. Her choice of colors for her wardrobe is dark shades of blue, black, and sometimes green. When you’re constantly traveling like Amaya, a trunk of glamorous clothing isn’t a luxury. During her travels, Amaya ususally wears a black jacket with a fitted t-shirt or layered camis/tank tops along with some slim fitted or flared dark blue jeans. Of course she does have back up clothes in her possession that she keeps clean if she were to arrive in towns so she doesn’t draw more attention to her. Her shoes are usually boots but she wears the occasional athletic runner shoes.
As for makeup, Amaya does still hold on to that part of feministic luxury. She wears the bare minimum with dark eyeliner, mascara, and eye shadow to make her eyes stand out. She doesn’t need anything else except the occasional lipstick if she’s trying to blend into societies and not look the part of the wanderer. Her dark long hair is usually kept back with some kind of style with ponytail holders and bobby pins. When down, Amaya keeps it in a messy look. As for accessories, they just weigh her down in her bags even more. Also to make a note, Amaya does possess a tattoo with the words “Non Timebo Mala” which is ‘I will near no evil’ written in Latin on her left side of her ribcage; she also has a belly button piercing with an angel wings charm.
Personality: Amaya’s persona can describe her as a lone wolf; she’s independent and does anything and everything on her own. You can say that she has a headstrong sense to her, she won't back down even when she is defeated. Amaya is not one that opens up to emotion; she doesn't display it to those around her. That what makes her kind of hard to read. People would say she is cold and heartless, but she is actually full of kindness and dedication toward her family others except when they do wrong to her.
What drives her will is hatred and saddness which she bottles up inside and lets out when she hunts her target. Amaya doesn't see the humorous side of life anymore except when she uses her dry sarcasm but rarely you will see her genuine smile or even a laugh. When you meet Amaya she is quiet and observes closely with the keen, intelligent senses that she naturally has as a fearless fighter.
Likes: the outdoors, thunderstorms, her silver rose pendent, being alone, reading a book, traveling, hand to hand combat, guns, starry new moon nights, singing, silence
Dislikes: vampires, werewolves, witches, faeries, humans that don’t fight back, getting soaked, not enough sleep, the daylight, the cold, sight of blood, large crowds, spiders, cowards
Where they Live: drifter
Pets: young peregrine falcon that seems to follow her place to place and stays near to her at night; she often catches herself calling him Indra.
History: Twenty-one years ago on a summer’s night, Amaya Lilith Walker was born to her parents, Yuuki and Gabriel Walker, in the city of Cortland. She was born into a family with great respect from others; her father, Gabriel, was a ranking officer in the military and her mother, Yuuki, was a skilled martial artist and stay at home mother to her children. When Amaya was old enough to walk on her own, she was taught ways to be a strong, independent person, starting with self defense.
Her young years of her childhood consisted of different types of martial arts taught by her mother which preserved Amaya’s exposure to her and her mother’s Japanese culture. Amaya was also influenced greatly by her strict but loving father with discipline and strength. When Amaya was older, he taught her how to use weapons such as knives and guns. She soaked up her father’s advice and knowledge considering she loved every minute she spent with him; she would sometimes not see him for long periods of time.
Amaya wasn’t an only child; she did have a younger brother of two years named Adriel when Amaya was four. She was protective of him; if someone would poke fun or upset him, she would get defensive and take action. It was only she that could pick on her little brother. All through her schooling years up until the supernatural rebellion, Amaya was respected but not the most talk-a-tive even though no one really had a problem with her. She liked being a loner or with a small group of friends. Everything in her life seemed to be set in place just perfectly until one day it was torn into pieces.
In 2000, the rebellion of the supernatural creatures began in full force. Cortland was the first to fall to the vampires. The Walker family tried to escape the city but was hunted down by invading vampires on the outskirts of Cortland. Trying to defend his family, Gabriel attempted to fight off the vampires but was quickly outnumbered and killed by a snap of his neck. His body was dragged into darkness as a trio of vampires fed on his blood. Two vampires killed Amaya’s mother in the same way, then they turned their attention to Amaya and Adriel.
Amaya desperately tried to ward off the vampires, but they just toyed with her. They dragged the two siblings apart, and Amaya was taken into the woods where the two vampires held her down as they cut her wrists open to feed on her blood slowly. She quickly lost consciousness just after she felt fangs puncture her left shoulder. Amaya didn’t know how many days passed when she finally woke up to the morning light. Her cuts were bandaged; food and water were close to her side, and it seemed she was taken farther into the forest in a hidden thicket.
Weeks she laid low and traveled with other homeless humans like herself. Slowly weeks turned to months and months turned into years. When she was eighteen, she started to wander place to place alone. She needed to find out if her brother was alive and maybe perhaps find her savior from that tragic day. Where ever she went, hatred falsely stitched her heart back together. Amaya began to train herself to know the enemies: their lifestyle, their weaknesses, their strong points.
She would slowly win back her right to her humanity and take down as many supernatural beasts she could. When she was twenty, she made her first hit with vampires just outside of Cortland. This is when she adopted her alias ‘Akane Snow’. Now, she hunts anything that is inhuman and is responsible for her hurt and the murder of her family. She does this with a string of hope that she will find her brother Adriel alive.
