Sunset.
Yamilla wrinkled her nose, holding squinting slightly as she walked through the woods. A faint, beating heart was somewhere hidden just a few feet away, and she took a deep breath. Jack. She stifled a yawn, holding tight the flask in her hand. The liquid within brimmed lightly, and swayed gently as she moved with subtlety among the trees. Her eyes looked towards the skies, somewhat distant and dark. The ray of the Sun barely touched the sky she was under, and she could feel immediately the temperature drop.
Five hours ago she had passed the same route, and found the Vampire lying peacefully on the ground - with his pulse slow and relaxed then. She sighed at the sight of him, and laid down just in front of the cave, following his lead. Exhaustion had finally caught up with her, and she was glad she had considered a nap. Night was going to be long, here in Tiverton. And everything shifted.
A little over an hour ago, she had woken up to find him still in his deep slumber. She decided to walk to the Vivi's place, and along the way she had been shaking her mind to find what to say. Apologize? Thank? She found out she didn't need that - when she got there, a flask of brimming blood was waiting for her from their doorstep. She had smiled, finding no note. Smart. She didn't need to be told it was deer's blood, and that it was for Jack.
Walking now, she couldn't help the yawn come again, and she blinked twice. As she neared the cave, she took a deep breath and wondered if he was awake.

Jack had been sleeping restlessly until he woke up to find Milla sleeping close to the mouth of the cave. Relieved that she hadn't been attacked by a horde of witches he fell asleep with some peace on his mind. At least until he remembered Madeline was most likely sitting at home, losing her mind with worry. It wasn't very often that he just didn't come home without telling her. He felt bad but there was very little he could do in the meantime.
His internal clock was off by quite a bit since he had been forcing himself to wake up thoughout his slumber. The sun sank into the horizon but he was to tired to even try to wake up yet. When he finally was able to pull himself out of his sleep, he was surprised to find the Milla had disappeared again. Sitting up he rubbed his sore lower back, stone was not the most comfortable. Standing up he walked to the mouth of the cave and then sat back down. He hadn't fed in what seemed like forever, Jack was beginning to feel weak.
Jack was ready to get back to his feet to go and hunt but he smelled Milla coming towards his direction. Fighting his urge to hunt, he stayed put and waited for her.

Yamilla's footsteps were barely audible, as she directed herself carefully where she was walking, avoiding twigs and such. She still did not trust the place.
As the last rays of the Sun faded, she squinted her eyes and saw a vague figure by the opening of the cave. At last. "Hey," she greeted, smiling. Taking a deep breath, she hastened her pace quickly and sat herself down beside him, placing it in front of him. She smoothed his back, giving him an empathetic look. He was paler, and weak. His heart beat was slow - a condition she herself had experienced, and vowed never to happen again. I can only imagine everyday ...
"Hope you're not picky, because it's deer's. Oh and, if you're wondering, I didn't get that for you. Vivi's family did. Or, parents." She glanced towards the sky, narrowing her eyes. "Sure you're gonna go through with this?"

Jack waved his hand at her greeting, even though it was a great effort to even lift his hand. He had been much to careless that entire night, Jack just hoped that he wasn't going to pay for it later.
"I'm way to hungry to even bother being picky tonight" he said happily taking the deer blood. Jack had become so distracted by just the smell, he barely heard any word of what she was saying. He figured food first than ask questions later. Downing every last drop he felt slightly better, but animal blood was never as good as human.
"Wait did you say Vivi? Was that the little kid in the square?" He asked.
Jack racked his brain, what had happened while he was asleep, or did it happen while he was sitting right there transfixed in his work?
"I can't go through with it tonight. I have a worried human waiting for me, I don't want her doing anything stupid on my behalf" He said seriously.

OOC: Supposed to be Yamilla, but i cant be bothered to change just now XD Sorry, Skipper ;D Promise it wont happen again :
Still smoothing his back, she gave him an apologetic smile - animal blood was satisfying enough, but it still didn't sate the greedy thirst and and power enough the strength required for your average Vampire. This much she knew - Sereal always liked to take his work with him back home. And she, along with her brothers, were always a little too curious for their own good. And Yamilla always liked to question and know things.
She sighed, taking her hand from his back, and almost smiled. His heart rate was picking up - but his words were what caught her. "Yes, Jack, Vivi is the little tiny kid. But, the plan is a no go?" Her eyes looked at him, incredulous. She had no right to force him, but they'd just stayed all day at the one place she most disliked for nothing. At least, that was what he seemed to imply. Please don't tell me we'll have to spend ...
"Your certain human doesn't even know where you are." Yamilla tried to look at him without looking as if irritated, but failed to - instead just looking away. "Trust me, if she'd have done anything stupid, it'd be following you to here."
It wasn't implying - it was more like questioning his decision without sounding arrogant. Plus, the thought of staying another night in Tiverton made her shudder.

OOC: It's all good, I understand ;D
Her hand on his back was comforting, he was amazed at how easily he was able to forget all about Madeline around Milla. Jack had a feeling it was nice being around somebody he didn't have to protect all the time. It was amazingly relaxing not being so tense.
Sure the responsible thing would to head right back to Cortland but he came all this way and involved another person, it would be stupid to just turn his back now. Jack had a plan and he was sure that at least some desperate witch would show with the hope that this crazy person would help save their loved one.
"If your in, I'm in. Let's go see if anybody will show" He said grinning.

Yamilla narrowed her eyes, turning her attention back to Jack. Perhaps she had come strongly, but I didn't say anything of that sort, did I?
Vampires were easy to predict, and she had learned too much for her own good many things about them. The thought of humans suddenly made the Thirst run down their veins, and make them ecstatic at the thought of sweet, warm, fresh blood. The sight of inhumane acts are merely just for entertainment - the touch of the Enemy like poison to the heart.
But none of those applied for Jack. Not for this strange, soft Vampire.
But why is that?, she thought, racking her brain. He was theone in a million, that much was certain. But ... the fact was, she wasn't frustrated about spending another night with him. In fact, that would be a nice change. It was his ability to be so ... different and unpredictable, that frustrated her the most. Vampires were supposed to be cold-hearted, selfish bastards who liked nothing better to spend their day than killing and spilling innocent blood. They were supposed to be that. Supposed to be.
I'll get you one day. She stood, sighing. Offering her hand, she pursed her lips and raised an eyebrow. "Where exactly is this meeting place?"

Jack too was just as perplexed by this werewolf. He had never expected that he would be sitting outside of a cave casually talking to one, like it was normal. Vampires and werewolves mixed like oil and water, they weren't meant to be civil with each other. Jack figured this was caused by the fact that each race was harmful to the other.
Maybe they were just meant to run into each other, Jack being a unconventional vampire and Milla being a werewolf that would deal with him. Not only deal with him, but seem to like his company as well.
Jack was happy that he had decided to venture back to find this intriguing werewolf.
He gladly took her hand and got to his feet next to her.
"Not to far away, I'll lead the way" He said.

OOC: Okay, I lied. I did it again XD I'm sorry
Gracious. Yamilla tensed, after releasing his hand. Her senses tingled, and she felt herself light-headed. There was a sensation of heavy shift, as if the whole world had gone another degree.
She wished for Jack's sake he did not feel that. Releasing her breath, she blinked twice and pursed her lips. What the hell was that?! She knew her stance looked tense and uncomfortable, and so she tried her best to give Jack but a small smile.
Hesitating, she grabbed his hand to hers. "Okay," she said, breath stopping. "You do that. And don't take any notice of this. Just because I'm holding your hand doesn't mean I like you. I just don't like, uhh this place." Frowning to herself, she hoped he would just walk on without asking. I wish.
